KSU Announces launch of "Washington Semester" Intern Program

Kennesaw State President Sam Olens and the Department of Political Science and International Affairs are partnering to create an exciting new Washington, D.C. based internship program. Starting in Spring Semester 2018, College of Humanities and Social Science students can take advantage of university contacts in the nation's capital and intern in a variety of positions. At the present time, most will be with members of Congress. Best of all $7,500 scholarships will be provided in the fall and spring for the three students selected to participate each term (with six $5,000 scholarships for the summer).

The process will be competitive and students must meet the minimum requirements to gain credit through the POLSIA department (i.e. be juniors or seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA). Full time internships can earn up to 12 semester hours of credit. Interested students should email Dr. Stricko Myers by October 1st at the absolute latest.
